Who publishes this site
These pages are published by Olmarova, a 44-room hotel at Riegrova 14, 779 00 Olomouc, Czechia. The hotel is the controller of any personal data described below. You can write to the address above, telephone +420 585 412 093, or send a message to [email protected], which reaches the front desk and nobody else.
What this site is not
There is no booking engine on this site. It takes no reservation, holds no account, accepts no card and processes no payment, and it offers no profile to create and nothing to log in to. Rooms and tables are arranged by telephone, by letter or at the desk; anything you tell us that way is handled under the hotel's own records policy and falls outside this page.
What is collected
If you only read
Nothing that identifies you is collected by the pages themselves. The site loads its own fonts, its own stylesheet and its own script from the same server; it calls no other host and embeds no map, video or social widget, so no third party learns that you were here.
The two values stored in your browser
- ol_age_ok: written only if you confirm on the home page that you are 18 or over, so the question is not repeated on your next visit.
- ol_consent: written when you accept or decline on the cookie bar, so the bar stops appearing.
Both are stored by your own browser in localStorage. They stay on your device and are never transmitted to us, and clearing your site data removes them. If your browser refuses to store them, as private windows often do, the site asks again next time.
Server logs
The web server that answers your request keeps a short technical log: the IP address, the time, the page requested, the response code, the amount of data sent and the browser's own user-agent string. These lines are produced by the server software, are used only to keep the site running and to look into faults or abuse, and are deleted after 30 days.
Anything you type into the contact form
The form on the contact page does not post to this server. It hands your name, email address, chosen subject, any dates and your message to the mail program on your own device, which sends them to the front desk. From that point it is an ordinary email in the hotel's mailbox. Messages are read twice a day, answered, and kept for 12 months, then deleted unless they have become part of a booking record.
Analytics and advertising
No analytics or advertising tag is installed on this site today. Google Consent Mode v2 is present and its defaults are set to denied before anything else loads, so that if measurement is ever added it cannot run until you have said yes. If you accept on the cookie bar, the stored signal would permit Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads measurement to operate; if you decline, the denied defaults stay in force. You can change your answer at any time with the Cookie settings control in the footer. The Cookie Policy lists what those cookies would be.
Why we are allowed to do this
- Legitimate interest for server logs: a site has to be kept available and defended against abuse, and the logs are the minimum needed for that.
- Consent for anything that is not strictly necessary, including any future analytics or advertising measurement. Consent is asked for in clear terms, is as easy to refuse as to give, and can be withdrawn.
- Legitimate interest, and the steps before a contract where a room is in question, for answering a message you have chosen to send us.
The two localStorage values are strictly necessary for the functions they serve: one records an age confirmation the law requires us to ask for, the other records your own choice about cookies.
How long things are kept
- Server logs: 30 days.
- Email to the front desk: 12 months, unless it becomes part of a booking record.
- ol_age_ok and ol_consent: until you clear your browser's site data.
Who else sees it
The hosting company that runs the server sees the logs, because the logs are made on its machine; it acts on our written instructions and may not use them for anything of its own. The mail provider that carries email to the desk sees your message in transit, as any mail provider must. No one else receives anything. We do not sell data or share it for marketing, and we transfer nothing outside the European Economic Area. Where a court, the police or the gambling regulator makes a lawful demand, we answer it and go no further.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you may ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, for corrections, for erasure, for a restriction on how we use it, and for your data in a portable form. Where we rely on legitimate interest you may object, and where we rely on consent you may withdraw it at any time without having to explain. Write to the desk and the answer comes within one month. If the answer does not satisfy you, you may complain to the Czech data protection authority, whose contact details are published on its own website.
Children
This site is written for adults. The gaming room described on it is restricted to people aged 18 and over, the home page asks visitors to confirm their age, and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us a message, write to the desk and it will be deleted.
If this page changes
The date at the top is the date of the last review. When something material changes, that date moves and the change is described in a line at the foot of this section. Minor corrections of wording are made without notice. There is no mailing list to notify, because we keep none.
Asking about any of this
Write to Olmarova, Riegrova 14, 779 00 Olomouc, Czechia, telephone +420 585 412 093, or email [email protected]. A person at the desk will route it to whoever can answer.
